4000 series aluminum alloys (Al-Si series) are typically represented by 4043 and 4343 aluminum alloys, which are specially used as welding materials. 4043 aluminum block has the characteristics of low melting point, good fluidity and good corrosion resistance, which is very beneficial to avoid welding cracks. 4343 aluminum block has higher Si content than 4043 aluminum block, and has the characteristics of low melting point, narrow solidification range, good fluidity, etc., which is beneficial to the shrinkage of the welding seam during solidification and reduces cracks. It is used as a cladding layer for composite brazing plates.
